Job Description

We are seeking a Quality Engineer to join a client in Fort Worth. This is a full-time, direct hire position. The role is 100% onsite. This role will start out in Grapevine, TX before transferring to the client's Fort Worth facility.

The Quality Engineer is responsible for supporting and enhancing the company's Quality Management System (QMS) through data-driven analysis, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration. This role provides statistical insight for quality improvement, identifies appropriate testing methods, and ensures products meet all internal and external requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Quality System & Documentation

  • Assist in maintaining and improving the Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Support the Quality Manager and Supervisor in implementing and sustaining quality standards and procedures.
  • Create and maintain quality documentation such as manuals, procedures, work instructions, and forms.
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly quality reports.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Coordinate with Engineering and Operations to ensure smooth transfer of new products into production according to approved documentation.
  • Support Quality Inspectors to ensure products and processes comply with QMS requirements.

Quality Assurance & Improvement

  • Analyze failures and drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for both internal and external customer concerns.
  • Improve receiving inspection processes, documentation, and workflows.
  • Lead continual improvement initiatives using methodologies such as 5S and Kaizen.
  • Ensure timely resolution of supplier nonconformances and follow-up on corrective/preventive actions.
  • Plan, organize, and manage activities related to incoming and outgoing quality control.

Auditing & Supplier Management

  • Conduct internal and supplier audits, generate audit reports, and ensure proper closure of findings.
  • Manage supplier performance, including corrective actions, quality monitoring, and audits.

Training & Development

  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance quality awareness across the organization.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • ISO Auditor certification required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (intermediate level).
  • Knowledge of computer functionality and technical sub-assembly interactions.
  • English proficiency (primary or secondary language).
  • External candidates must demonstrate strong alignment with role requirements and successful performance in similar positions.
